The Judicial Review I referred to previously (in relation to the challenge by various Freeholders over the provisions of the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024) is to be held in the High Court between 15th an 18th July High Court

​ 

 

 

THE RENTERS RIGHTS BILL 2024

 

This Bill is now going through the Report Stage in the House of Lords, which is scheduled to end on the 15th July

 

However, due to the upcoming Parliamentary recess, this Bill is not now likely to be enacted and come into force until the latter part of this year, possibly even next year

 

It will only be then that the position in relation to the requirement for Deeds of Variation may change
