Leasehold Reform

There is nothing specific to report this month, so looking back we are still waiting for:-

​

• The outcome of the High Court Judicial Review, which is inevitably going to cause delays in further Leasehold Reform (including perhaps the publication of the new draft Leasehold and Commonhold Reform Bill which the Government said would be published later this year)​

​

• The Renters Rights Bill in now back with the House of Commons for consideration of the amendments made by the House of Lords, following which it should move on to Royal Assent – it is not expected that this will now come into force until 2026

​
